Tuesday, December 5, 2006 at Ferguson Convalescent Home
in L apeer. A Funeral Service will be held 1 PM Friday,
December 8, 2006 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 E. Davison
Rd. Pastor William Cody, her grandson, will off iciate.
Burial will be in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will
be 1-4 and 6-9 PM Thursday and 11 AM-1 PM Friday. In
lieu of flowers, memorial contribu tions may be made to
honor the staff of Ferguson Convalescent Home. Anita was
born in Loveland, Larimer, Coloradoon September 16, 1911,
daughter of the late Cly de and Myrtle Shumway. Anita
married John E. Cody on February 5, 1942 and he preceded
her in death. She was a member of the Red Hat Society.
Anita enjoy ed playing Bingo, card games, bowling and her
family. Mrs. Cody is survived b y six children, Donna
(Al) Tondu, Ronald (Theresa) Ericson, Jerry (Rose)
O' Bryan, William (Christine) Cody, Robert (Barbara)
Cody, Dennis (Carol) Cody; 15 grandchildren; 28
great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; many
nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by son,
John J. Cody and grand son, Richard E. Tondu. Anita's
family wishes to thank the staff at Ferguson's for the
wonderful care that she received.
