EATON -- Norman Wilson Shumway, 89, of Eaton, passed away Saturday, Dec. 23, 2000. Mr. Shumway was born on
July 11, 1911 in Ladysmith, Wis., the son of the late Fred A. and Margaret (Wilson) Shumway. He married Nora V. Shumway
on June 28, 1939 in Covington, Ky. She preceded him in death on July 12, 2000. They were married for 61 years. He was
employed as an electrician at Greyhound Bus Lines and was later employed at Saint John Bus Lines. He retired from NCR
in Dayton. He was a member of the Assembly Baptist Church in Lutz, Fla. Mr. Shumway is survived by his children,
Larry A. (Judy) Shumway of Centerville, Linda L. (Edwin) Shumway of Eaton, Gary A. (Bridgett) of Douglasville, Ga.,
Michael Shumway of Fairborn, Sandra S. (Reggie) Jordan, David J. Shumway, Mary Worley, Norma J. Miller and
Faith (Jared) Vincent, all of Tampa, Fla.; Diane (Greg) Golden of Brandon, Fla., Daniel A. Shumway of Tampa and
Martha L. Shumway of Eaton; 24 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral services are being handled by R.C. Nein and Sons - Thompson Funeral Home, 249 N. Main St.,
Camden. Services will be held at the discretion of the family.
BURIED: Fairmount Cemetery, Camden, Preble, Ohio
