Obituary: RICHARD RICE
Richard Rice, 59 years old, died last Sunday morning at his home five miles
west of Topeka. He had been living on the farm since March 1. His death was
due to heart failure. He worked Saturday on road work and appeared in his
usual health in the evening. His family found him dead the next morning. The
Rice family lived in Rossville nearly 20 years previous to their departure
several years ago. He is survived by his wife, two daughters Bertha Mize and
Miss Ethel Rice, and three sons, James, Clyde and Frank Rice, all of Topeka.
The funeral was held last Tuesday from the Wanamaker church and interment made
in Mount Hope cemetery.
