Centreville; Naomi C. KNAPP, 80, 441 E. Main St.,died Aug. 25, 1992, at the Fairvi ew Medical Care Facility, where she had
been a resident 3 years.
She was born Feb. 6, 1912, in Jones, a daughter of Herbert and Grace (STANARD) FREESE.
She was employed as a nurse's aid 22 years at Fairview Medical Care Facility, retiring in 1974. She was a member of Fairview
Ladies Auxiliary.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Donald (Joey) CRIPPIN and Mrs. Jack (Hazel) HOFFINE, both of Three Rivers, Mrs. Robert
(Jean Anne) DONLEY, Coldwater, and Mrs. Edward (Dora Lee) BOWER, Sturgis, two sons, Robert SHUMWAY, Massachusetts and
George RICE, Centreville; 20 grandchildren, several great-grandchild ren; one sister, Mrs. Thomas (Herma) FREESE,
Centreville and one brother, Arthur FREESE, Oregon. She was preceded in death by her parents, three husbands, Chandler
SHUMWAY and Jack RICE; two brothers and two sisters.
Burial will be in Prairie River Cemetery, Centreville.
