SHUMWAY - EATON WEDDING
Pretty Home Ceremony At South Amherst Saturday

A pretty home wedding took place Saturday at 12:30 at the home of Mr and Mrs Wilbur O Shumway at South Amherst, when their
eldest daughter, Ruby Marjory, was united in marriage to Hovey Damon Eaton of North Reading. The house was decorated with
laurel, golden rod, asters and ferns. The ceremony was performed by Rev John F Gleason, pastor of the South Congregational
Church. The couple has no attendants. The bride was prettily dressed in a gown of white basiste trimmed with all-over lace.
She wore a veil caught up with roses and carried, a shower bouquet of bride roses. A reception immediately followed the ceremomy,
after which the couple left for a wedding trip. The bride is a graduate of the Amherst high school in the class of 1904, and from
the Westfield normal school. Since her graduation from the normal school she has been a teacher in the public schools at
Longmeadow. The groom is a graduate of the North Reading high school. Guests were present from Northhampton,
North Reading, Brattleboro, Sunderland and Cedar Rapids, Ia. Mr and Mrs Eaton will make their homr in North Reading.
