Mrs Lawrence Shumway
Mrs Ada Butler Shumway, aged 44 years, wife of Lawrence Shumway, of Reese Hill, Charleston township, died at 5 o'clock
Saturday afternoon, of aploplexy, at the office of Dr J G Webster in Wellsboro. She was a daughter of Gilbert and Edith
Butler and is survived by her husband and three children. Lillian, Doris and Theron; one sister, Mrs Claude Copley,
of Delmar and one brother, Elwin Butler, of Farmington.
The funeral was held yesterday afternoon at the Church of Christ, the pastor, Rev M S Blair officating burial in the Wellsboro
Cemetery.
