Mrs. Myrtle Reese, 63, died last Saturday at the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital. She was born May 6, 1882 in
Charleston township, the daughter of Charles and Rose Shumway Drew. Her husband, Bert Reese, died several years ago.
Surviving are three sons, Earl and Floyd of Elmira; and Basil, of Wellsboro; one daughter, Mrs. Roy Bowen, of Charleston; a sister,
Mrs George Biebe of Wellsboro, RD and a brother, Verne Drew of Wellsboro. Funeral service were held Tuesday afternoon from
the Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert W. L. Mark, pastor of the Presbyterian Church in charge. Interment in
Wellsboro Cemetery.
