Lucretia Shumway, aged 28 years, daughter of W.P. Shumway of Pine Valley west (Clark Co., Wis.), died Wednesday night,
May 31st, 1899, of consumption. The burial took place Friday, from the residence, where services were conducted by
Rev. A.B. Scovill. Interment in South Pine Valley Cemetery.
Deceased was a young lady of very many admirable traits, of lovable character, and happy disposition. A loss so great can
but excite universal sympathy for the home circle from which she has gone.
