Catherine C. Shumway, of Valparaiso, formerly of Goshen, died Tuesday, November 6, 2001 at Lifecare Center. She was 93.
She was born November 10, 1907 in Valparaiso, the daughter of Robert and Sarah (Fitzpatrick) Chenail, who preceded her in death.
On June 12, 1937 in Chicago she married Donald D. Shumway, who preceded her in death in 1983.
She is survived by two children, Dwight E. (Elaine M.) Shumway and Elaine Kay Shumway, both of Valparaiso; two grandchildren, Michelle and Dwight and three great grandchildren.
She graduated from Englewood High School, Chicago, and was a member of Liberty Bible Church.
Funeral services are scheduled at Noon, CST, at Moeller Funeral Home, Valparaiso. Interment will be at Violett Cemetery in Goshen.
Visitation is scheduled from 6-8 p.m. CST Thursday and one hour prior to services on Friday.
Memorials may be made to the Moody Bible Institute.
