William H Shumway, 84, of 608 Third Ave., retired guard at the State Capital Building in Albany, died last night at Leonard Hospital
after a brief illness. Mr Shumway, a lifelong resident of Troy, owned a plumbing business here for many years before his
employment at the State Capital. He was a lifelong member of the Trinity Episcopal Church and a member of Phoenix Lodge
F&AM.
His only living survivor is his wife, Dura Livingston.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 am from the Mason Funeral Home 109th Street and Third Avenue with Rev.
Robert L Seekins, pastor of the Trinity Episcopal Church officiating. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
