Jack W. (John) Shumway died unexpectedly at home January 12, 2003.
He was born June 14, 1962 in American Fork, Utah to Jack Shumway and
Shirley Turpin. He married Lonna Ellison on June 19, 1998.
He is survived by his wife Lonna, and five children: Jennifer,
Brittany, Travis, Skyler, and Aubrey. He is also survived by his
parents Shirley Turpin, Welby (Jim) Turpin, John's mother and
father-in-law Ron and Anna Ellison, two brothers and one sister;
Bruce Cox, Larry Cox, and Laura Brown, four grandchildren and many
nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his Dad and brother
Doug Cox.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 18, 2002 at 11 a.m.
in the Cascade Chapel at Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary, 495 S. State
Street, Orem. A viewing will be held Friday from 6-8 p.m. and also
one hour prior to the services. Interment will take place in the
Orem City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the
Lonna Shumway fund at any Zions Bank.
