Jacqueline "Jackie" Shumway Sims, 41, died January 6, 1995 in Provo after a long battle with lupus.
She was born July 2, 1953 in Sunnyside to William R. and Cloris Jones Shumway. Married Mike Sims July 25, 1985 in the
Manti LDS Temple.
She loved to serve others and had compassion for those in need. She was an active member of the LDS Church.
She is survived by her husband, Mike; and daughter, Vickie, both of Delta, Colo.; parents, Bill and Clo Shumway of East Carbon;
and father and mother-in-law, Joe and Emily Sims of New Mexico.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 10, 1994 at 10 a.m., in the East Carbon LDS Chapel, where friends may call one
hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Huntington Cemetery under the direction of Fausett Mortuary.
