DIED -- In Anoka, October 27, Mrs Diantha Beaty, wife of J. S. Beaty. The
funeral services were held from the family residence Sunday afternoon, Rev.
Leach of the Baptist church officiating.
Diantha Shumway was born in Meigs county, Ohio, January 17, 1834, and
was married to John S. Beaty, June 15, 1856, locating in Anoka county the
same year, where she has resided most of the time since.
The deceased was a good, christian woman and her loss will be deeply
felt by all who knew her. She leaves, besides her husband, two sons, A. F.
of this city and Arthur of Superior, Mont.
