associates who were embezzling. The truth is less dramatic - he went down one mine too
many and got pneumonia.. Known as Edmund.

FUEL COMPANY OFFICIAL DIES AFTER EXPLOSION
Denver, Co., Jan 11, - E. E. Shumway, 51, president and general manager of the Rocky Mountain Fuel company, died tonight
from the effects of poisonous gases inhaled in rescue work which resulted from the explosion in the Vulcan mine at New Castle
, Col, Dec 17 last.
