Notes for Viola Pamelia Shumway

Viola Shumway Cass was born at Pascoga, R. I. on June 28,1853, a daughter of Jeremiah and Mary Paine Shumway, She attended
public schools and also the Caledonia Academy for two years. She married William Cass on September 10, 1875. In 1880 they moved
to Lyons where she now resides. Mrs Cass served as a delegate to the National W R C Convention at Des Moines and was appointed
a Staff Officer at the organization. Mr and Mrs Case have three children, William A, Sarah E, and Charlotte A.
