two of his daughters, Ethel M Shumway (22) and Georgia L Shumway (17). He owns his own
home and it is valued at $8,000. He owns a radio and is a widower. He was born in Idaho.

GEORGE M SHUMWAY DIES AT BEND, OREGON

George M Shumway, aged 68, who with his family was a resident of Deming for many years, passed away at Bend, Oregon
on Sunday, Feb. 19. Mr Shumway and family left here a year or two ago, and he has resided at Bend, Oregon since.

Mr Shumway is survived by three daughters, Mrs A H Schwichtenburg, of Panama; Miss Ethel Shumway of Seattle. and
Miss Georgia Shumway of Portland and two great grandchildren.

The remains were brought to Deming on Thursday, and funeral services were held in the Presbyterian church at 2 o,clock pm
, Rev O A Quall officating, Interment was in the Deming Cemetery.

Many friends here offer sympathy to the bereaved daughters.
