About 1817 he removed from Lebanon Springs, NY to Cobleskill, NY.
Nov. 1844 - Removed to Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin.
1846 - Removed to West Point, Columbia County, Wisconsin.
May 10, 1850 - Bought 40.0 acres in Columbia or Sauk Counties.
In 1850, Jeremiah D Shumway(56) and his wife, Lucretia Allen,(51) were living in Lodi,
Columbia, Wisconsin. They migrated from Cobleskill, NY in 1844. Along with
Jeremiah and Lucretia reside 4 of their 11 children in Lodi. Jabez(21) and three girls,
Orcelia(17), Catharine(15) and Helen(13) remained at home. The three girls had
attended school withing the last year.
