2 .SOLOMON HOLMAN, JR (Solaman) son of Solaman and Mary (Barton) Holman, was born
Nov. 25, 1697, at Newbury, Mass and died Apr. 17, 1785, at Sutton, Mass. He married,
(1) Mary Bricket May 23, 1722, at Newbury, Mass., who was born Aug. 13, 1705, and died -----,
Mary Bricket was daughter of Janes and Mary Bricket, as by Will of James, 1753, gave
to wife Mary and grandson, Solomon Holman, and granddaughter, Elizabeth Holman,
five shillings each, with what they had already received..
He married, (2) Mercy Waters, Aug. 28, 1729, at Oxford, Mass., who was
born -----, and died ------, Living 1785.
Capt. Solamon's Will, made Mar 9, 1785, Prob. Apr. 11, 1785, ( ?) signed
by Solomon and Elizabeth Shumway as children. Dolly, a daughter, to have furnuture, etc.,
after self and. wife. Sons mentioned., Solomon, (Col.)
Jonathan, Elisha and David.
Children. The first two were born at Newbury, Mass., and all the others at Sutton, Mass.
