Dear Shumway Folks, I am not related to you but the original owners and builders of my 150 year old home in Brookfield, MA were George Shumway(1827-1908) and Mary A. Wetherbee (1830-1917). I have the dates of death for George and Mary as well as their daughter, Fannie. I did not realize, until just now that there was another daughter of George and Mary. I just found George and Mary's grave yesterday in the Brookfield Cemeterty. Fannie must be there also but there is no inscription for her. Fannie died in 1945 in Ware, MA at a nursing home. If any of my information would be of interest please email me back. I have information back to Peter Shumway (1635-1695) but would love to be able to go back further.
